This workshop will introduce students to the basics of using DSLR cameras and the fundamentals of exposure. Don’t leave your DSLR sitting collecting dust in the cupboard or acting as an expensive paperweight. It’s an fantastic tool that you can use to take amazing photos provided you know the basics.
We combine theory with practical, and provide plenty of one-on-one opportunities with the instructor to address questions about photography and your camera.
This workshop covers:
– navigating your camera interface
– utilising the main features and functions of your camera
– the exposure triangle
– understanding aperture
– understanding shutter speed
– understanding ISO
– looking at the light
– preset modes
– file formats and image quality
– white balance
– using manual mode
– metering
– tips and tricks
